Privacy Policy

TechSolutionPoint (techsolutionpoint.com) is built so that you can use its tools without handing over your data. This page explains exactly what is processed, where and why.

The short version

  • Most tools run entirely in your browser. Files and text you use with them never leave your device.
  • Online checks (DNS, SSL, headers and similar) send only the domain, URL or IP address you enter to our server. We don't store it.
  • We have no accounts and no sign-up. We count page visits in a simple, cookie-free way: no IP address, no visitor ID, only totals per day.
  • If you rate a tool or request one, we store only what you send (the vote, the reasons you tick, your comment or request) — not your IP address and no cookie.
  • Ads are provided by Google AdSense, which uses cookies. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first.

Tools that run in your browser

PDF, image, text, developer and most security tools process your files and text with code that runs on your own device. They are not uploaded to us or anyone else, and they are gone when you close or reload the page. Each tool page says “Runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded” when this applies.

Some of these tools download extra code the first time you use them (for example the PDF or HEIC decoder). That is a normal file download from our site and contains nothing about you.

Online checks

These tools need our server to contact another system: DNS Lookup, DNS Propagation Checker, SPF/DKIM/DMARC Checker, HTTP Status & Header Checker, IP Address Lookup, Meta Tag Checker, What Is My IP Address, Redirect Checker, Reverse DNS Lookup, Robots.txt Tester, Security Headers Checker, SSL Certificate Checker, Website Status Checker, Website Uptime Checker and XML Sitemap Validator.

  • We receive the domain, URL or IP address you enter, run the check and send back the result. Inputs and results are not saved.
  • The check is made from our server, so the website or service being checked sees our server's address, not yours.
  • DNS checks query public resolvers run by Google (8.8.8.8), Cloudflare (1.1.1.1), Quad9 (9.9.9.9) and Cisco OpenDNS. IP lookups use public registry data through rdap.org.
  • To prevent abuse we limit how many checks one IP address can run per minute. That count is kept only in memory and is discarded within minutes.
  • If a check fails unexpectedly, the technical error may be written to our server log so we can fix it.

Password Strength Checker

Your password is analysed in your browser and is never sent anywhere. The optional breach check uses the Have I Been Pwned Pwned Passwords service: your browser sends only the first 5 characters of the password's SHA-1 hash, receives a list of matching hashes and compares them on your device. Neither we nor Have I Been Pwned learn the password. Because your browser makes that request directly, the service receives your IP address, as with any website request.

What we save on your device

The site remembers a few preferences in your browser's local storage: light or dark theme, sidebar layout, your bookmarks and folders, recently used tools and searches, list or grid view and the UTM Builder history. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

We don't set cookies for tracking or analytics ourselves (see Visit counts). Advertising cookies are described below.

Advertising and cookies

We show ads from Google AdSense to keep the tools free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google's advertising cookies let it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

  • You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's My Ad Center, or opt out of some other vendors' cookies at aboutads.info.
  • Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
  • Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland see a consent message from Google, a certified consent management platform, before personalised ads or advertising cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time with the Privacy settings link in the footer.

Tool ratings and tool requests

Under each tool you can say whether it was helpful and, if not, why, with an optional comment. On the All tools page, the search box and the “page not found” page you can request a tool we don't have yet.

  • What we store: the tool, your vote, the reasons you picked, your comment or request text, and the date. Please don't put personal details in a comment.
  • What we don't store: your IP address, cookies or anything else that identifies you. Your IP address is used for a few minutes in the server's memory only, to stop the same address from sending too many votes.
  • Your browser remembers that it voted on a tool (in its local storage, not a cookie), so you aren't asked again.
  • We use this only to fix tools and decide what to build next, and we may delete comments at any time.
  • When spam protection is switched on, these forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person, not a bot, is sending.

Quote requests (Services)

When you ask for a quote on the Services page, we store what you type in the form: your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number if you give one, the service, budget and your message, with the date. We use it only to reply to you and to prepare a proposal, and we don't share it or send newsletters.

Your IP address is not stored (it's used for a few minutes in the server's memory only, to stop repeated sends). Ask us at any time and we'll delete your request.

Visit counts

To see which tools are useful and what's missing, the site counts a few things, as totals per day:

  • Which pages and tools are opened, whether a tool finished its job (a download, a copy or a check), and which pages are missing (a “page not found”).
  • The kind of device: phone, tablet or computer (only that word, not your browser or device details).
  • The name of the website that linked to us, such as google.com (never the full address you came from).
  • Words typed in the search box only when no tool matched, so we know what to build. Searches that look like an e-mail address or a long number aren't kept.

No cookie, no IP address and no visitor ID are stored, so a count can't be linked to you or to your other visits. Your IP address is used for a few minutes in the server's memory only, to limit abuse. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is counted. Counts are deleted after about 13 months.

Hosting and server logs

Like every website, our hosting infrastructure receives standard request information (your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) in order to deliver pages and protect the service from attacks. It is used only for operating and securing the site.

Browser extension

Our optional bookmarks extension downloads the public list of tools from techsolutionpoint.com and keeps a bookmarks folder in your browser up to date. It doesn't read your other bookmarks or your browsing history and sends no data about you to us.

Your rights and choices

Because we don't run accounts or keep the inputs to our tools, we normally hold no personal data that could be linked to you. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or US state privacy laws) you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data and to object to its use. Contact us and we'll help. For data collected by Google for advertising, use Google's controls linked above.

The site isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes and contact

If we change how the site handles data, we'll update this page and its date first. Questions or requests: [email protected]. See also our Terms of Use.
