Frequently asked questions
Is the end date counted?
Not by default: from Monday to Friday is 4 days. Tick “Count the end date too” to count both days (5), which is what you usually want for leave or a project schedule.
How are working days counted in Bangladesh?
Choose the Friday & Saturday weekend and the calculator skips those days. Public holidays such as Eid aren't subtracted, because their dates change every year: take them off the working-day total yourself.
What is one month after 31 January?
28 February, or 29 February in a leap year. Adding months keeps the day of the month but stops at the last day of a shorter month, and the difference between dates follows the same rule.
Does it handle leap years?
Yes. Every calendar rule is included: 2024 and 2000 are leap years, 1900 and 2100 are not.
