Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. The PDF is built entirely in your browser with JavaScript, so your photos never leave your device. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads.

Will the image quality drop?

JPG and PNG files are embedded as-is, without re-compression, so quality is unchanged. Other formats (WebP, GIF, BMP) and photos that need rotating are re-encoded once at high quality.

Why are my phone photos the right way up?

Phones often store photos sideways with an EXIF “orientation” flag. The converter reads that flag and rotates the image so the PDF page looks the way the photo does in your gallery.

Which page size should I choose?

“Fit to image” makes each page exactly the size of its image — ideal for screenshots and scans. Choose A4 or Letter if you plan to print; images are scaled to fit inside the margins without being cropped or stretched.

Can I convert HEIC photos from an iPhone?

Most browsers can’t decode HEIC, so convert those photos to JPG first (or set your iPhone camera to “Most Compatible”). JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF are supported; for animated GIFs only the first frame is used.

Is there a limit on the number of images?

You can add up to 100 images and 200 MB per conversion. Very large batches depend on your device’s memory, so split huge sets into several PDFs and merge them afterwards if needed.
