Frequently asked questions

How do I delete pages from a PDF?

Click a page to select it (or several), then press Delete in the bar at the top, or the Delete key. You can also use Delete in a page's ⋯ menu. Undo brings deleted pages back.

Can I combine pages from different PDFs?

Yes. Open several PDFs at once, or press Add PDF later. Each file is labelled PDF 1, PDF 2… in its own colour, and the label is shown on its pages, so you can tell them apart while you arrange them into one document.

How do I select many pages at once?

Tick the circle on each page, Shift-click to select a range, or drag a box over pages on the empty space around them. The Select menu picks all pages (Ctrl+A), odd or even pages, blank pages, every page of one PDF, or inverts the selection.

How do I rotate pages?

Select the pages and press Left or Right, or use Rotate all to turn every page. Rotation is saved in the new PDF, and the original quality is kept.

Can I reorder pages without a mouse?

Yes. Focus a page and press Alt+← or Alt+→ to move it, or select pages and use To start / To end. On touch screens, press and hold a page to drag it.

What size is an inserted blank page?

A blank page takes the size and orientation of the page it's inserted after, so it matches its neighbour — handy for adding a page for notes or making double-sided printing line up.

Will the quality of my pages change?

No. Pages are copied into the new file as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their original quality.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The pages are rendered and rearranged by your browser, so your documents never leave your device.
