Frequently asked questions

Will the PDF look exactly like my Word document?

Close for simple documents: headings, paragraphs, bold, italic, lists, tables and pictures are kept. Fonts are swapped for standard ones, and headers, footers, text boxes and complex layouts are left out, so pages may break in different places. For an exact copy, use Word's own Save as PDF.

Can I convert old .doc files?

Not directly. Open the .doc in Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice, save it as .docx and convert that.

Is my document uploaded?

No. The .docx is read and the PDF is made inside your browser, so the document stays on your device.

Does it work with Bangla or other scripts?

Yes. Text the standard PDF fonts can't show is drawn by your browser, so it looks right, but that text can't be selected or searched in the PDF.
