Frequently asked questions

Is the rotation permanent?

Yes. The new orientation is saved in the PDF itself, so the pages open the right way in every PDF reader, on every device, and when printed.

Does rotating reduce quality?

No. Rotation only changes each page's orientation setting — the text, images and file contents are not re-rendered or recompressed.

Can I rotate just one page?

Yes. Use the ↺ and ↻ buttons under a page (or click the page) to rotate only that one, then apply. Pages you don't touch stay as they were.

Is my PDF uploaded to rotate it?

No. The file is read and rotated by your browser, so it never leaves your device.

Why does my PDF viewer still show the old orientation?

Some viewers remember a rotation you applied in the viewer itself. Close and reopen the downloaded file, and make sure you opened the new “-rotated” copy.
