These are Unicode symbols, not real fonts, so they paste anywhere text goes. Some apps or older phones show boxes (☐) for rare characters, screen readers often read them badly, and search engines don't treat them as normal words — use them for names, bios and highlights rather than whole posts.
Mix styles — make just one word bold, italic or anything else

Frequently asked questions

How does a fancy text generator work?

It doesn't change the font. Each letter is swapped for a different Unicode character that looks like a styled letter, such as 𝐀 (Mathematical Bold Capital A) instead of A. Because these are characters, not formatting, they survive copy and paste.

Where can I paste fancy text?

Almost anywhere that accepts plain text: Instagram and TikTok bios, X posts, Facebook, Discord names and messages, YouTube comments and many game usernames. Some sites block unusual characters in usernames, so check before you save.

Why do some letters show up as boxes?

The device showing the text has no font with that character. Bold, italic and script styles are widely supported; rarer characters such as small-capital Q or some superscript letters can appear as ☐ on older phones and some computers.

Is fancy text bad for accessibility and SEO?

Screen readers often read these characters one by one, by their Unicode names, or skip them, and search engines don't treat them as ordinary words. Use them for a name or a few highlighted words and keep important information in plain text.

How do I turn fancy text back into normal text?

Paste it into the Unstyle Text tool. It maps the styled characters back to plain letters and removes strikethrough and underline marks.

Is my text sent anywhere?

No. Everything is converted in your browser. Nothing is uploaded; your favourite and recently used styles are only saved on your own device.
